Using the Walkthrough

Due to the complexities of how this game is structured, this page serves as a reference for how to interpret the data in this walkthrough.

Battle Table

Here's how to read the battle tables contained in this walkthrough:

  • Enemy Name
    • Name of the enemy
  • EXP
    • The base experience gained from defeating this enemy.
  • Weapon Set (Base Attack)
    • While each mission involves fighting the same enemies, these enemies don't always spawn with the same weapons. Each enemy spawns with one of several possible weapons from a predefined pool; this pool is called a weapon set. To see what possible weapons an enemy may spawn with, check that mission's weapon set table. No matter what weapon they spawn with, that weapon will have the base attack value listed in parentheses.
  • Head (Durability)
    • This is the piece of clothing the enemy is wearing in the head slot. The number in parentheses is the clothing's durability. Not all enemies wear clothing in this slot. If they don't, this field will be blank.
  • Upper Body (Durability)
    • This is the piece of clothing the enemy is wearing in the upper body slot. The number in parentheses is the clothing's durability.
  • Lower Body (Durability)
    • This is the piece of clothing the enemy is wearing in the lower body slot. The number in parentheses is the clothing's durability.

Weapon Set Table

As noted above, enemies don't always spawn with the same weapons. Each enemy will spawn with one of several possible weapons from a predefined pool; this pool is called a weapon set. The odds that determine which weapon an enemy will spawn with from a weapon set depends on the difficulty level being played.

Tutorial Set 2Plastic Umbrella30%30%30%30%
Monitor70%70%70%70%

Referencing the table above, if an enemy is listed as having a weapon from "Tutorial Set 1", that means they have a 30% chance in all difficulties to spawn with Boxing Gloves and a 70% chance in all difficulties of spawning with a Plastic Bat. If an enemy is listed as having a weapon from "Tutorial Set 2", that means they have a 30% chance in all difficulties to spawn with a Plastic Umbrella and a 70% chance in all difficulties of spawning with a Monitor.

Some weapons may be more likely to spawn in higher difficulties than lower ones. Check the difficulty columns in each mission's weapon set table for details.

Mission Information

Each mission in the walkthrough will be broken down to show the following:

  • If dialogue choices affect a girl's affection and when during the mission structure they occur (i.e. during the talk at MOGRA or during pre-fight / post-fight dialogue scenes)
  • When side missions become available
    • There'll also be a link to more detailed information about that side mission, including how long it's accessible for and how to complete it
    • If a side mission is a Sister Mission, it will be clearly stated so
  • Any partners and allies you have for that battle
    • A partner can be used for unison strips (the team up stripping move)
    • An ally cannot be used for unison strips
  • The enemies you'll fight and the equipment they spawn with

First Playthrough Tips

On your first playthrough, the following is recommended:

  • Play on Easy difficulty
    • The game has NG+ where you can play with a Clear Data save file and start with the equipment from your previous playthrough. It's recommended not to try the harder difficulties until you're in NG+ with enhanced gear.
  • Play Tohko's route and don't worry about getting her True ending
    • There are four routes in the game and it's recommended to play Tohko's initially. Her route is the easiest and it's the one the game will put you on by default if you don't meet the criteria for the other routes. When you beat the game and start NG+, the game will make it visually clear which dialogue option favors each girl. This means it's much easier to pick your routes in NG+ and also to get their True endings.
  • Don't worry about most side missions
    • Your gear is the worst on your first playthrough. Some of the side missions can be a little difficult without enhanced weapons and clothes. The one side mission you should do is Look But Don't Touch. Completing that side mission allows you to wear women's clothing from that point forward, including in NG+. This mission is identified in the walkthrough though, so don't worry about remembering it right now.
