General Info

This is the first dungeon. The floor maps are pretty simple. As you explore the dungeon, you'll trigger a number of tutorials and battles. Look for dungeon tiles with question mark icons or crossed sword icons. Question marks indicate conversations and crossed swords indicate battles. These move the story forward. Eventually, you'll find stairs leading up to the next floor.

Continue ascending the dungeon floors until you reach and defeat the boss.

Optionally, after defeating the boss, you may continue exploring the dungeon to recruit the remaining monster girls.

Party Advice

For this dungeon, you will not have many party options. Just make sure to keep a character or two in your party who can do fire damage, as most enemies in this dungeon are weak to it.

  • The switch that opens the gate at X:04 Y:16 is only accessible coming downstairs from 4F. Unlocking this gate will create a shortcut.

Battle: Tet

Eventually, you'll encounter and battle the first monster girl, Tet. Focus your attacks on her clothing. After her clothes are destroyed, you'll enter Battle Scratch mode. This is normally a timed minigame where the goal is to find and rub the three weak spots to fill the corresponding Pit of Darkness gauges. Filling all three gauges allows you to successfully recruit the monster girl. If you run out of time, she will escape.

You'll be given unlimited time with this Battle Scratch though, so make sure to get familiar with the controls. After successfully massaging the three weak spots, you'll enter Nude Flash (and this is the point the timer would normally stop). If you aren't using touchscreen controls, just rotate the analogue sticks until the Nude Flash is complete.

Battle: Lindwurm

You'll also run into Lindwurm on this floor. This battle teaches you about Monster Girl Crystals. To use the Monster Girl Crystal, destroy her clothes and press the Y button when Otton begins raining gold coins.

After using the Monster Girl Crystal, return to town and visit the Training Center. From there, select Monster Girl Crystal and you'll enter the Battle Scratch for Lindwurm. Be aware these are now timed, so make sure to save ahead of time in case you fail the Battle Scratch.

Pumpkin Battle: Lindwurm

After defeating monster girls who normally roam the map, future visits to the dungeon will have a pumpkin icon walking the same route the monster girl did. These pumpkin icons represent higher difficulty fights and there are no heart drops in these battles. The information for these battles will be listed after each relevant monster girl, but these battles are totally optional.

2F Notes

  • The Secret Area at X:06 Y:14 is Strange Vagrant's Shop. In addition to selling various rare items, these vendors also sell Building Materials for the monster girls found in this dungeon. Visiting the conversation tile right before the Secret Area provides Colorful Papers (costume for Nava).

The first monster girl you can encounter on this floor is Arachne. As with the previous monster girls, focus on destroying her clothing, then massage her weak points during Battle Scratch.

Anytime a monster girl is accompanied by other monsters, focus on destroying those first.

  • Nava is the boss of this dungeon. Defeating her will open up access to the next dungeon. However, after defeating her, you may continue exploring this dungeon, as there are still additional monster girls to recruit.
  • There's a pitfall located at X:13 Y:03 that will take you to Hidden Floor. There are no monster girls in Hidden Floor. There are five treasure chests in Hidden Floor but none contain any costumes. Hidden Floor is not necessary to visit.

  • Enemies on this floor are much stronger than previous floors and the heart drops on this floor are any costumes you missed from the previous floors. Enemies on this floor drop costumes from previous floors' enemies that share the same character model.
  • This is the best floor for farming Area 1 costumes from Harvest Points. Using the save point on this floor will allow you to repeatedly reload the dungeon and farm the two Harvest Points next to each other at X:11 Y:08 and X:11 Y:09. Make sure to save after finding each new costume.

Cockatrice (DLC)

If you have the DLC, you can add six monster girls to the game from the title screen. Each monster girl becomes available to fight and recruit after completion of Chapters 1-6. After completing each chapter, return to the Training Center and select the DLC Monster Girls menu option.

Cockatrice is available after Chapter 1.

Nest Maker's Building Material can be purchased from the shop in town.

Her costumes can be found in her Deep Reaches.
