Monster girls gain levels from experience earned winning battles. Monster girls that remained in town also gain experience.
The amount of experience monster girls in town receive increases if you enhance the rooms each one lives in through room construction.
Room construction is performed by acquiring building materials specific to that monster girl. If you find building materials, you can use the Construction option at the Inn to improve their rooms. Construction materials are found in each monster girls' Deep Reaches.
Monster girls each have their own unique move sets. These move sets are defined by whatever bra they're currently wearing.
Bras can only be worn by the monster girl they belong to.
The move sets for each bra are often focused around specific roles, such as attack, support, or healer.
Don't forget to make sure monster girls are placed in the appropriate row of your party (front vs rear) for their respective move set. Monster girls with physical attacks (sword icon) should be in the front row and monster girls with magic attacks (pentagram icon) should be placed in the rear row.
Monster girl stats are heavily impacted by the panties they wear.
Each pair of panties is focused on boosting different stats.
You can infer different roles from the stats the panties boost. For example, panties intended for a tank role would likely have high HP, DEF, and MDF modifiers.
The stats in Moero Crystal H are as follows:
HP
SP
ATK
DEF
MAT
MDF
AGI
Each monster girl has four total costumes. They come equipped with a default costume and there are three additional costumes that can be found.
Each monster girl has a costume that will be found from:
Each monster girl can wear four pieces of equipment:
Each monster girl will receive a unique crown upon completing their first Double Scratch. Crowns are uniquely named after each monster girl but they can be worn by anyone in your party.
The full list of crowns can be found here.
While visiting your monster girls in their rooms at the Inn, you'll gain a menu option called Doki-Doki Shooter if your intimacy level with the monster girl has at least one full heart.
Doki-Doki Shooter is a minigame where you play a vertical scrolling shoot 'em up. The purpose of the minigame is to use your bombs to shoot off the clothing of the monster girl to find her special crystals.
Each of the three crystals unlocks a different special dungeon (called a territory) containing treasures. These treasures include presents and room upgrade materials.
To clear each territory, you must defeat a simple boss and find the exit. The bosses are larger and stronger versions of regular random encounter enemies found in these territories.
The controls for the Doki-Doki Shooter minigame are posted on-screen. Additionally, taking any enemy damage in a Doki-Doki Shooter minigame will end it and send you back to the Inn.
The difficulty of a monster girl's territories will depend on which dungeon the monster girl was originally recruited in. Monster girls found in the early game have easier territories than monster girls found later in the game.
Doki-Doki Shooter minigames can be repeated as many times as it takes to find all the crystals.
Territories can be revisited as well. However, treasures won't respawn after being collected and the Peeping minigame will not respawn after it's completed.
Each monster girl has three crystals on their body to find. These crystals are as follows:
Separate Crystal
Skill Crystal
Heart Crystal
If you fail a territory, you can reattempt it by visiting the Deep Reaches submenu (accessible after clicking the Doki-Doki Shooter menu option) and selecting the specific territory.
Soul Temple is a place for spending souls collected from battles.
The following options are available from Soul Temple:
When spending souls at Soul Temple, prioritize Seal Release over Equipment Enhance, as some seals gained from Seal Release can be quite helpful.
Resting Place eventually becomes available in town and provides options for temporarily boosting stats on your monster girls. The boost is temporary though and will only last the next time you're in a dungeon. Dying or leaving the dungeon will remove the stat boost.
Resting Place provides two options:
Choosing to Rest or Stay will cost a fair amount of gold per monster girl. These boosts can be helpful if you're having trouble completing a dungeon but they never really feel necessary.
