Mio's Trial

This particular dungeon tends to have a lot of flower garden rooms. You may even encounter flower garden floors with no enemies.

Since you start with no items or equipment, keep an eye out for any equipment that drops and equip it immediately when it does.

Floor 5 will always be the same. The floor will be a uniquely-shaped single room. There will be a number of enemies and items on the ground. Among other items, you can expect to find a Cream Bread.

The boss of this dungeon is Grim Mio. She's accompanied by two Chest Thumpers and two Robbin' Hoods. Grim Mio doesn't pose too much of a threat. She'll shoot you with Lead Bullets or throw Splitterocks at you. You only have to defeat Grim Mio to win.

When the fight starts, focus on Grim Mio, as the enemies below you are asleep. If Grim Mio knocks you backwards, you'll be in prime position to cast Brilliant Lord Lotus and damage the mob enemies and Grim Mio all at once. This will leave the mob enemies weakened and ready to be finished off easily. Target Grim Mio with either Direct Miss Lily or Briliiant Lord Lotus repeatedly to finish this fight quickly. Heal yourself with Refreshing Mr. Mint whenever necessary.
