Character Overview

Mei is an offensively-focused character. Her Strength and Magic stats grow significantly higher than any other character, but her HP, Vitality and Will are among the worst. This makes Mei a glass cannon. If you can keep her alive, she's one of the best characters in the game.

Mei's best skills include:

Great Destiny - a passive skill that makes her critical strikes extremely powerful.
Malice Unleashed - the Haste buff can turn Mei into a killing machine or give you extra time to heal.
Ghost Execution - a great mass damage skill that can cause Instant Death too.
Black Fire Seal - one of the best buff skills for boss fights.

Skill Bloom #1: Mei Awakens!?

Dark Raging Impact
- Description: Causes Instant Death or magic damage to the monster 1 square forward. She is yet to fully master these black flames of burning death.
- Each time this skill gains a level, use count increases by 1.
Great Destiny
- Description: This, too, is destiny! A critical strike will sometimes cause x3 damage to the enemy.
- Each this time skill gains a level, the rate this triggers increases.
Increased Strength
- Description: Strength base value increased by 1.
- When fully maxed, this skill increases base Strength by 10.

Skill Bloom #2: Witchy Meimei

Malice Unleashed
- Description: Causes physical damage to monsters in the 8 surrounding squares, and Haste to self for 5 turns. Unleashes the dragon sealed in her right hand.
- Each time this skill gains a level, use count increases by 1.
Servant of Darkness
- Description: Can you feel this karma? Increased stats for cursed equipment, with a further dark fire boost if all four are cursed.
- Each time this skill gains a level, the stat boost increases.
Increased Vitality
- Description: Vitality base value increased by 1.
- When fully maxed, this skill increases base Vitality by 10.

Skill Bloom #3: Mei The Savior

Ghost Execution
- Description: Causes physical damage to all monsters in the room and sometimes causes Instant Death. A fatal strike guided by a morbid specter.
- Each time this skill gains a level, use count increases by 1.
Out of Control
- Description: Tch! This new power must be subdued! Super dark and cool character history may cause status conditions to last more turns.
Increased Magic
- Description: Magic base value increased by 1.
- When fully maxed, this skill increases base Magic by 10.

Skill Bloom #4: Mei-pocalypse!

Black Fire Seal
- Description: Envelopes the body in darkness, boosting Physical & Magic Attack for 5 turns. Provides Healing for 10 turns and Invincible for 5 turns.
- Each time this skill gains a level, use count increases by 1.
Increased HP
- Description: HP base value increased by 5.
- When fully maxed, this skill increases base HP by 50.
Increased Will
- Description: Will base value increased by 1.
- When fully maxed, this skill increases base Will by 10.

Mei's stat growth favors Strength and Magic.

Mei's stats grow extremely slowly. However, after every seven levels, Mei gains +15 to Strength and Magic instead of +1. This makes Mei quite a weak character initially and very dependent on gear with high defense to keep her alive. However, her attack damage is unmatched, especially at high levels.
