Moero Crystal H Strategy Guide: Town Information & Menus

Town Information

Moero Crystal H takes place in a town called Arthenon. This town is where you'll spend time in between dungeon expeditions.

Initially, you won't have many options to choose from in town, but more will unlock as the game progresses.

Town Menu

The menu in Arthenon consists of several options:

Room

  • This takes you to the Inn where you can perform various tasks related to managing your party and interacting with your monster girls. This is explained in greater detail here.

Shop

  • This is where you buy and sell items. The available items will initially be limited but the variety of stock will increase as the game progresses.

Soul Temple

  • This is where you spend souls collected from battle on various upgrades. This is explained in greater detail here.

Resting Place

  • You can apply temporary stat boosts to your monster girls here. The options are fairly simple:
    • Rest provides a specific monster girl with a boost to a stat of your choice.
    • Stay provides a specific monster girl with a boost to two random stats.
  • More information can be found here.

Training

  • This takes you to the Training Center where you will be given options for re-fighting monster girls or replaying their Battle Scratch sequences. You do get experience from re-fighting monster girls but it's minimal.
  • The Monster Girl Crystal option is where you'll perform a Battle Scratch with any currently trapped monster girls. Save before using this option because if you fail the monster girl will flee.

Leave Base

  • This option allows you to leave town and enter a dungeon.

The Inn

Selecting Room from the town menu provides the following options:

Go To Room

  • This allows you to visit each monster girl's room. There are various options available to choose from and these are detailed here.

Party

  • This is where your party is set. Selecting Manage Party lets you choose which monster girls are in your current party.
  • You can also change which row (front vs rear) your monster girls are in by pressing the R button. Characters who perform physical attacks should be in the front row and characters who use magic attacks should be in the rear.
  • The second aspect of party building is companions. The Manage Companions menu allows you to assign other monster girls to be companions with your current party members.
    • Each party member can have up to two companions, one for Attack Support and one for Skill Support.
    • Assigning companions will provide specific boosts to your party members, such as boosting the DEF stat or granting the ability to inflict a status effect on a successful attack.
    • Monster girls who are paired up as companions will build friendship levels over time. Friendship maxes at level 5. There are benefits to building friendship among the monster girls. At friendship level 3, two monster girls can become roommates. At friendship level 5, you can perform a Double Scratch with those monster girls. Performing a Double Scratch for the first time will earn each monster girl a unique crown that boosts several stats.
    • A full list of all companion abilities can be found here.

Construction

  • This is where you upgrade your monster girls' rooms. Upgrading rooms provides increased experience for monster girls who do not join you on dungeon expeditions. Upgrading rooms also boosts the intimacy level of your monster girls.
  • Upgrading a room requires building materials that can be found from special crystal dungeons accessed through the Doki-Doki Shooter minigame or from special vendors that can be found in the main game dungeons.

Fortune

  • This option allows you to speak with the innkeeper. She will tell you where monster girl's costumes can be found.

Leave Room

  • This takes you back to the previous town menu.

Visiting Monster Girls

If you choose Go To Room, you will be given a number of menu options (some of which will not be available unless certain conditions have been met):

Talk

  • This option is only available when there is a dialogue scene available for that monster girl. Dialogue scenes unlock at specific times, such as when first acquiring a monster girl, when finding costumes for her, or when raising her intimacy.
  • Talk can open other menu options, such as Change. If your monster girl has a Talk option available, make sure to exhaust it.

Present

  • This option allows you to give a present to the monster girl. Presents can be found in dungeons, won in battles, or purchased from vendors.
  • Each monster girl has different tastes. Some presents will raise intimacy while others will lower it.
  • Raising intimacy unlocks additional dialogue scenes.
  • You cannot access Doki-Doki Shooter unless the monster girl has at least one full heart of intimacy.
  • The Present menu is also where you give monster girls the costumes you find. Costumes can only be given to the monster girl they belong to. Providing a monster girl with a new costume will provide another clothing option in the Change menu.

Doki-Doki Shooter

  • This option is unlocked once a monster girl has reached at least one full heart of intimacy.
  • Doki-Doki Shooter is a minigame which provides access to special dungeons that unlock extra abilities for your monster girl. This feature is explained in greater detail here.

Loving Scratch

  • This allows you to spend Rub P on the scratch minigame where you find and rub a monster girl's sensitive spots. Love Scratch doesn't provide any benefit to the monster girls beyond slightly increasing their intimacy level. This is purely an optional minigame.

Double Scratch

  • This becomes available when a monster girl has reached friendship level 5 with another monster girl. Friendship levels are raised by assigning monster girls as companions to your party members.
  • Double Scratch is the normal scratch minigame where you find and rub a monster girl's sensitive spots. However, this time there are two monster girls available to rub. You don't have to actually rub both characters during the minigame to win though. You can beat the minigame solely by focusing on one character.
  • The first time a monster girl is involved in a Double Scratch, she will receive a head accessory called a crown. Each monster girl can unlock their own unique crown; however, these crowns may be worn by any monster girl, not just the one it belongs to.

Change

  • This becomes available after giving a monster girl her first costume and exhausting all of her Talk options.
  • This option allows you to change the costume of the selected monster girl. Bras provide different move sets and panties provide different stats.
  • If you've completed the Separate territory for a monster girl (accessed via Doki-Doki Shooter), you will be given the option to change her bra and panties separately, allowing you to mix-and-match bras and panties from different costumes.

Set Roommate

  • This option becomes available when a monster girl reaches friendship level 3 with another monster girl.
  • This option allows you to let monster girls live with each other.

Leave Room

  • This takes you back to the Inn menu.

Camp Menu

In addition to the standard menu options in town, you can also access the Camp Menu by pressing the X button in town or at the Inn.

The Camp Menu is also the same menu you see when pressing the menu button in a dungeon.

The options in the Camp Menu are as follows:

Item

  • This lets you view the items in your inventory. If you're in a dungeon, this menu will also allow you to use items.

Skills

  • This lets you view the skills of each of your party members.
  • If you're in a dungeon, this menu will also allow you to use skills such as healing.

Equipment

  • This is where you equip your party members. This can be accessed both in town or in dungeons.
  • Monster girls can only be equipped with items when they're in your active party.

Stats

  • Basic menu that displays the stats of your party members, as well as their equipment and current move set.

Party

  • This should not be confused with the Party menu available at the Inn. This menu only allows you to change your party formation and which row your party members are in.
  • You cannot swap out different party members from this menu, even when in town. The only way to change your party members is from the Party menu at the Inn.

Library

  • This provides access to all previous tutorials you've seen.
  • You can also access a list of all the monster girls and enemies you've encountered.
  • There is also a list of which of the 48 Erotic Methods you've discovered. The 48 Erotic Methods are double team moves that are triggered from performing two specific moves in a row in battle. Additional information on these can be found here.

System

  • If you're in town, you can save and load the game.
  • If you're in a dungeon, you can only load the game.
